What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The Bible
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God,
and that none may add or take away from it.
(Revelation 22:18-19, Deuteronomy 4:2, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1)

The Trinity
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God.
(John 14:9-28)

The Church
We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new people in Christ Jesus.
(Ephesians 2:22, Matthew 16:18)

The Savior
We believe that all that have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin. Jesus is the only way for salvation.
(Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:9; 8:1, Acts 4:12, John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9)

Do you need forgiveness from your sins? Would you like to spend eternity with Jesus? If so, please pray this prayer with us - "God, I know I'm a sinner and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus took my punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. Please forgive me of my sins. I put my hope and trust in you for salvation. Thank you for your grace, forgiveness, and eternal life! Amen!"

The Baptism of Water
We believe the Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I've already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked?

Take a few minutes to read these BAPTISM FACTS.

The Healer
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the healer
and that healing is provided for in the atonement.
(James 5:15-16, Matthew 9:35, Luke 6:19, 1 Corinthians 12:28)

The Return of Jesus
We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ
to receive to Himself all born again believers.
(John 14:3, Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:52)

The Gifts
We believe that the Church should claim and express the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit
(1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
